Nitro is an online platform that clinicians use when scoring standardized evaluations and writing up reports. After conducting a standardized evaluation, you can use the HIPAA-compliant platform to enter demographic information, raw scores, and other key information. Nitro is programmed to automatically calculate the standard scores, age equivalents, or other required data.

From there, Nitro provides the template for writing up the report, formatting data, and more. With Nitro, you can rest assured your reports will be free of embarrassing errors or unprofessional formatting issues!

What disciplines can use Nitro?

At this time, Nitro is programmed for the following professionals:

Can I use Nitro for a reassessment if the original assessment was completed in another system or format?

Yes, you can. If the original assessment was completed in another system or in a Word document, you will still want to use NitroEvals.com. It will take a little extra work to set it up correctly, but it will be well worth it. You will have to first cut and paste the critical information (e.g., client name, date of birth, medical history) from your original assessment into the Nitro system. Once that is complete, you can move to reassess and the original information will appear.

Can I download my forms and save or print my assessments?

YES! The purpose of this website is to help you produce an assessment quickly and flawlessly, and then allow you to have your assessments organized and in one place! When it is time to print your assessment or reassessment, you can effortlessly download everything you need to submit in a nice tidy package. We even offer sample reports to get a feel for how your report might look.

Why did you start this site?

We started this site for a few BIG reasons.

(1) We needed it for our own clinicians. Our team was spending a significant amount of time with manual aspects of writing up reports (e.g., formatting, calculating scores). We felt there had to be a solution to boost efficiency with this process that still maintained the integrity of the reports.

(2) We could not find an effective tool that addressed the problems we were trying to solve.

(3) We saw that there was an incredible opportunity to support fields that we are so passionate about.

(4) We wanted to create assessments that looked professional (i.e., proper formatting and presentation) while presenting the information in a clear, concise, parent-friendly style.

What assessment tools does this website support?

Currently, the site is set up to create assessments if you are using pediatric protocols, including:

Is there a customer service number I can call if I want to talk to a human being?

YES! And we don’t even hide the number or make it difficult to find like most web-based companies do! Call us at (773) 998-8500 weekdays from 9am-5pm Central Standard Time. We would love to hear from you and learn your stories. Plus you can tell us how incredible and life-changing the site is! We do close for a few days around Thanksgiving and the Holidays. Does Nitro Evals allow me to save my partially completed assessment to be finished later?

Yes! Once you’ve created your free Nitro Evals account and created a “client profile” you can complete as much as you want and save your in-process work by clicking "Save As Draft."

You can log in and make as many changes, adjustments, and additions as you see fit. Once you are finished with your assessment you can click FINALIZE and your assessment will be finished.

What if I have ideas that can improve the site?

How can the site be free?

It is free because we are footing the bill! Get in now while you still can. Our goal is to keep the site 100% free to help as many clinicians as we can for as long as we can. We will fund Nitro Evals by sponging off of our practice, volunteer labor, or donations (if you wish to donate to the site, click here). We will revisit the funding for this site as we determine the resources required for future programming, website improvements, data storage, staff required, compliance, etc.
